the summer has flown by

The summer is coming to a close. I have one week until I move to Tuscaloosa and one million things to do before then. I'm so excited about my bedroom. My sweet mother went to IKEA with my dad and got this bed and shelf.
I'm so excited. I still don't have anything else for my bedroom. I am going to have to go and get a bedspread tomorrow:) I think the bookshelf I'm going to lay horizontal and put under my window. It's going to be so cute:) My roomie and favorite person Angela is moving on Tuesday!! I wish I could be there!

This week is Community Service camp. It's going to be amazing! I pray this camp plants a seed in the campers lives to serve the Lord for the rest of their lives.

I'm doing the most amazing Bible study with the beautiful Rachael! It's called "Attending the Bride of Christ: Preparing for His Return".  This week we learned about the Wedding of the Lamb in Revelation. It was so captivating and eye opening to learn. Then, we learned about the Kingdom Calendar (Creation, Birth of Christ, Ascension of Christ, Pentecost, God Determines Time, Return of Christ, & Wedding of the Lamb). It was such a powerful illustration. I love learning about the traditional Jewish wedding and the covenant and how it models our relationship with our Savior. We learned about the ABC's of the Jewish marriage and the role of the wedding party. The last thing we learned was the Price He Paid & what a reminder that was.  Deuteronomy 21:22-23 (New International Version) " 22 If a man guilty of a capital offense is put to death and his body is hung on a tree,23 you must not leave his body on the tree overnight. Be sure to bury him that same day, because anyone who is hung on a tree is under God's curse. You must not desecrate the land the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance." & Galatians 3:13 (New International Version) "13Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree."   I can't wait to see what else God has to teach us.

Bless.
