December 2010

Christmas was spent with my family. This is a picture from Christmas day at my mom's parents. This picture is very tender in my heart because every single part of it encompasses my family. If you pay attention to the details. The hardest part to look at is my grandfather. This picture shows his Alzheimer's. It breaks my heart.

These are four of the six women that I love! This is taken at the Christmas Eve service. It is tradition. Notice all of us are wearing red and our angel(literally) is in the middle. XOXO.

This is the Christmas by Candlelight Production. Zac came with me. He was very interested to say the least. LOL.

This my brother and I at botanical gardens in Birmingham! Christmas Card Photo Shoot!

This is my boyfriend and I at his Family Christmas in Verbena. It was an amazing day with great people!

This is my boyfriend Zac. I made a trip to Jasper to visit him. He took me hunting! This is a picture of him in the shooting. We had soo much fun. It was very romantic. Yes, you heard me right...it was romantic. You sit in silence in the most beautiful areas. You watch the sunrise. You look for graceful animals. Its definitely teamwork at it's finest. I loved it.

This is Zac and I with my cousin Hollie's kids Jax & Emma Kate at Family Christmas. Zac met my entirely too loud Big, Fat American Family:)

My Christmas Tree in Tuscaloosa:)

October 2010

My beautiful little Brooke represented ADX in the Miss Sorority Row Pageant. I got to be her Pageant Big. I was backstage and helped with dress changes and props and primping. It was an awesome bonding experience.

This is a picture of Kristina and I at ADX's black and white party. This was not a great night. My date ditched me after 30 mins. He legit left. But hey, at least I looked great:)

October 17. I went to Brooke's Birthday dinner at Longhorn steakhouse. I met three very silly boys: J-Rich, Zac, & Tyler. We were all laughing the entire dinner. I will never forget when Zac got his bill he literally shouted for everyone to hear that his bill was $30. He was like have you ever spent $30 on a meal before? It was sooo funny. Afterwards, we went back to brookes and watched a movie. The boys picked The Last House On the Left. Let me tell you, do NOT see this movie. It is so disturbing and disgusting. I was freaking out. Well, we all ended up staying at brookes after the movie to talk. The guys didn't leave till like 2AM. When they did, Zac said he had class at 8AM and he was worried he might not wake up. So, I offered to call him. When I did, he got my number. It's all history from there folks...:D

Believe it or not, I played flag football this semester. It was awesome! I loved it. My teammates probably didn't love that I played because I was terrible and barely knew which way to run let alone what was going on. We won one game. A forfeit, but hey at least we had fun:) One of my favorite memories is when I was playing in a very rainy muddy game and I looked to the sideline during a play argument and I see Zac and like 20 other people there to watch ME! I was so embarrassed.

Zac and I started dating. He is so good to me. I believe this picture is from Tyler's birthday dinner. Now this is an interesting night. For those of you who know me well, I am terrified of tornadoes. Y'all, I am TERRIFIED. So, I am sitting at my house, freaking out about the tornadoes. Zac is calling me telling me to come over. I said Zac there is A TORNADO in Northport. Do you understand that? I am not going anywhere. He was laughing. He calmed me down. He is so great. Seriously, anyone who can stop me from worrying is right for me because I am a worry wart. We went to Outback Steakhouse to celebrate Tyler's birthday and guess what? We never saw a tornado.

Halloween and my birthday could not have been more perfect. Halloween, we had a costume party. I was Tinkerbell. Zac and Tyler were Fred & Wilma. Brooke was Minnie Mouse. Ashlea & Brett were crayons!! The next night we made dinner and went to see Saw 3D. Once again, Zac was so good to me. He apologized the whole time for how awful the movie was. He promised to never take me to a movie like that again. The next day was my birthday:)

September 2010

We got to celebrate the wedding & love story of Cassie Hooks Parker & Gary Parker. It was truly an amazing wedding weekend. The wedding was so beautiful. It was a great celebration of the Bride of Christ. Cassie's wedding was one of my favorite weddings I have ever been to! It was AMAZING!

Rush took place in September. As rush chair, it was a tough week. I enjoyed every second of it and it was truly a blessing on my life! I learned so much. I felt it was so well planned and ran very smoothly. We did not have as many girls as we expected and some sisters were rude about that, but we learned an important lesson! That our plan is not always God's plan.

September is such a great month because of football. We celebrated Alabama Football. The greatest in the Nation. Next year will be my last football season as a student.

August 2010

We kicked off the school year with Get on Board Day. This is where student organizations promote themselves. As rush chair, I handed out and made a lot of fliers!! This is a photo of me and my littles on this blazing hot day!

Angela and I rescued three puppies from under a trailor. Their names were ruth, jillian, and roman. We fell in love.

Ashley and Anna graduated, so of course we had to celebrate!

Core group reunited and tried out a new mexican restaurant at the Summit. It was soo good.

Summer Weekends were spent in this Pool with great friends. I made so many lasting friendships at this place!

May/June/July 2010

Stephanie got engaged and her bridal party threw her a huge engagement party. It was so fun and gorgeous.

4th of July was spent with family as always. This is my beautiful cousin and closest friend. I would not survive with out her. I love her very very much.

This is a picture of me with one of my idols James Spann. He came to camp and made my summer!

I combined these three months because I was a Day Camp Director 24/7 5days a week. So there are not many pictures I can post on my blog, but just know I had a great, busy summer investing in children's lives for the glory of God.

-people who drive slow
-the house not being clean
-when i slack on laundry
- my nails being chipped
-storms
-my mother

Day 27: Pets

I love daschunds. I just love them. My first daschund name was Shelby. My dad got rid of her because she bit one of his precious hunting dogs. Then, my baby was given to me when I was 9. Her name was Buffy Marie Abigail. We called her Buffy. Don't laugh at the name, I was 9. Buffy died at age 12 when I was 20. I was devastated. I can not wait to have a new daschund.
